As my fnerid Vince DiCecco says "always always say the price is …" and stick to that because as soon as you say your willing to change the price. At that point the customer realizes your price is not the price and you will give them a lower price. Many customer will ask for a better price no matter what the economy is doing or whatever your price is to test that you are giving them your lowest price. If you feel you have to lower your price for whatever reason be sure to get concession from the customer or don't do it. Remember if you give a 20% discount and your margin is 40% you've lost 50% of your profit and you've proven that you can be talked into a lower price.. Good Luck
